Her compulsion for vivid color, geometric forms and female figures frequents her drawings. This stems from the exciting, passionate and tropical culture of her native Brazil. She does not draw traditionally, that is to say shading with pencil or graphite, due to the plethera of concentrated, intense color in her art. I work methodically, putting my original designs down on paper, often filling the entire picture plane, creating busy, sometimes surreal settings. Her inspiration is her personal view and perception of the world. She strives to portray her unique feelings and opinions through distortion, confusion and hypnotic imagery.
